The Pathway for Seekers is a year-long orientation for those seeking to commit to be a part of the CSF community. (See previous newsletter for a visual of our Communities for Spiritual Formation).

During the invitation period (16 Nov to 25 Dec 2025), those who have registered interest will receive information about Pathway for Seekers and CSF.

If you decide to join us, the Pathway begins on 6 January 2026, which is Epiphany Day.

We prayerfully enter a first discernment phase – getting to know CSF and one another in the first two formation circles (See in picture below: Jan & Feb blue bubbles), then there is a choice of whether to continue on this journey as we move into the Season of Lent.

The first few formation circles cover topics that are core to the CSF community ~ how we view spiritual formation and what shapes our rhythms of life.

In this first half of the year, you will also participate in the CSF community rhythm of daily prayer, our quarterly rhythm of grace (an intentional rhythm to pause and rest), and two teaching retreats – Holy Saturday & Ascension Day.

There will be a 3D2N residential retreat in June, afterwhich we join the 10YJ Companions in the mornings of 4 Jul, 1 Aug, 5 Sep, 3 Oct, 7 Nov and 5 Dec, continuing with our own formation circles in the afternoons. This allows space for our Pathway for Seekers community formation, and also time to interact with others in the CSF community.

In November we enter another discernment phase – whether to join the 10YJ Companions, or remain as CSF Friends. Having spent a year to learn and experience what CSF is about, we close with this month of seeking what God says about your being a part of this specific part of His vineyard ~ CSF.
